Since forming in early 2007, Quotient Bioscience has grown rapidly, through a combination of acquisition-led and organic growth. During that time Quotient has acquired seven world-class businesses and brought them together under three new business areas: Quotient Bioresearch, HFL Sport Science and Quotient Biodiagnostics.

Bioanalytical Sciences: With more than 40 years as the world’s leading sport drug surveillance lab, Quotient is Europe’s largest bioanalytical service provider with the latest technologies for the bioanalysis of drugs (small molecules and biopharmaceuticals) and biomarkers, supported by comprehensive central lab services.

Microbiology: Experts in development of anti-microbials with core capabilities in global surveillance studies and molecular biology.

HFL Sport Science

HFL Sport Science is a trading name and integral part of Quotient Bioresearch, providing drug surveillance and doping control and research activities based in Fordham.

HFL Sport Science is a WADA experienced laboratory offering drug surveillance services to the sports sector and human and animal food supplement testing for banned substances.

Quotient Biodiagnostics, a new diagnostics company, is focused on providing high quality, high value immunohematology products to hospitals and blood banks around the world.

Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Alba Bioscience, Quotient offers more than 30 years of research, development and manufacturing of transfusion diagnostics products that traditionally have been sold worldwide by other companies, including Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Biotest, and DiaMed, among others.
